Ok, so i was planning on entering the video contest.
My trick was going to be to get Tucker smile on command.
he only does this at specific times, when i come home and when i give him biscuits.
I've been trying to click and treat when i see him smiling, but i think the problem is that when he's doing this, he's also doing a few other motions and he's getting confused at exactly what behaviour im clicking on. He does alot of jumping around when he smiles and is just excited. Unfortunately this is the only time he offers me that smile.
I've been trying to wait it out to see if he will just smile, but he starts to get frustrated and offers me everything under the sun. And it's not really something I can lure him into doing.
Is it possible that there's just some things that you can't teach with marker training??
or can someone figure out a way for me to get him to make the connection that it's the smile, not the other things he's doing at the same time that he's getting rewarded for.
