Yep, color is most important here! And I don't have proper kennels for them so I just sort of tied them out where ever (didn't take into account spacing..they keep stealing jewels from each other).
Heh heh. So I have a convention I'm leaving for thursday morning at around 2am with Ryuk to pick up our carpool passenger. This is the super dog friendly convention so I'm looking forward to having him sleeping under my table. I'm selling my normal dog and other animal keychains, earrings, etc. These 6 dragons (the one that's not tied up isn't coming, he's my personal cast) are part of my stock. I make Ball jointed dolls as a hobby...that's now become a nice bit of income while I'm still in school. They're really just coming for table decoration as this is not a convention that they'd sell at (they're $100 a pop, this is a convention for the gaming types...these guys do better at scifi/fantasy and doll sales) especially next to my other inexpensive stuff... This is the first time I've had so many in one place since normally I make one then sell it, then make another. I like this grouping so I figured I'd show them off.
Wow!!!
Please describe the process that you use to make them?
Do you have a website?
The original post with them all chained out is tooo funny...I love the part about them stealing jewels....
For the ones with the scaling I hand sculpt the scales on with apoxie and polymer clay.
These guys are posable, they're one of my "less posable" molds. My first dragon was limited to 20 casts but he was very expensive. I had a lot of people asking for a cheaper alternative who wasn't as limited.
