Congrats! What a great report. How did you teach him to throw away the bottles? I'd love to teach that to JD just to tell a couple of my friends that he learned it just for them :-)

He'll pick up and hold almost anything I tell him. Once he knew that it I just pointed at the bottles, he picked them up then I had him drop them in the recycling, eventually I stopped telling him but he was excitedly running around picking them up and putting them (mostly) in the bin (the "really nice" ones were given to me personally XD)
teaching them to pick things up requires a solid pick up and hold command with toys first, then you start introducing all sorts of weird things. Our goal currently is food items, we can do semi-frozen steak at the moment, but nothing totally soft yet
