It will stay open when you need it to stay open, it closes securly when pushed in, and the opening is wide enough to get a whole fist full of treats out at one time.
I have the kind that opens and closes with a drawstring, which is really inconvenient, so I end up leaving it open all the time, and I have had occasions where I've been in a class and maybe we're asked to do a fast heel, so I'm jogging, and the next thing I know, I'm leaving a trail of bouncing treats behind me.
So when I have to replace mine (or maybe sooner) I'm going to try the snap-close one.

There is no comparable one that I know of.
I have even washed it, on gentle setting, with a couple of hand towels, when I accidentally left meat in there. LOL I just kept my eye on it in the machine to make sure the strap stayed untangled. I believe there are even lingerie washing bags that would do the same (meant to keep bra straps from tangling?). I did not put it into the drier. It dried very fast over the shower curtain rod.
LB.The best that I have seen, worth sending to the States for it.
the only thing I am not mad about is the plastic buckle but one can always replace it with velcro.
Having owned many different makes and models of bait bags I can say that nothing compares to the leerburg bait bag. Buy 2 0r 3 just in case some how it goes away. I love that when my dog sneaks up behind me for a treat it will snap closed because they are usually sniffing around first and they bump it closed!!! hands down the best bag Ive encountered.
WHEN I SEE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL, I'D BE WILLING TO DIE PROTECTING IT.
