Not gonna deny that XD Ryuk "listens" to them since they tend to be the ones yelling. When Stabler tells someone to sit down during interrogation Ryuk will sit down right away and stare intently at the magic command box. Morgan's the same way, just not as loud...same results. The "Doink Doink" on Law and Order just makes him perk his ears and wag his tail.
Never had any interest in animals on TV though even if they're barking
Ryuk LOVES the Law and Order Doink Doink....he also likes the character Elliot Stabler on SVU and the character Derek Morgan from Criminal Minds (he'll perk up and listen to them intently....he'll also sit if they say sit, he's cute)
Not sure if he watches but he certainly listens to certain things XD lol

My female rattie races around the house looking for the strange dog, when one barks on TV.

Oh wait, we were talking about the dogs watching TV, right?
Drift watches the Michael Ellis training videos intently. She recently saw Roni Hoff's Toby on the Jumps video and went ballistic. Then she saw G'ma Cindy and whined. It's hard to tell if she really knows what's going on though because she will also stare at the ceiling fan with complete fascination.
The other dogs will bark if they hear wolves but that's about it.
Ya, the sounds are what attract Maggie, she looks that way (toward the TV) and then shrugs. And then for good measure pounces on me to play, because no one should just be sitting around on the couch staring in that direction when you could be doing something with her.
