Stephanie Bishop Webboard User Reg: 03-01-2011 Posts: 156 Loc: tx Offline	my pup is just a little older than yours..he didn't start to learn how to pull vs any other antic he could think of until i took his favorite rag, held both ends in either hand, made sure he had a good grip, and just stood still holding firmly to both sides with his bite in the middle. i doubt it will work on all pups...but when he got frustrated cause i wasn't moving he started to pull back out of pure frustration..even growled a bit. i instantly said yes and let him win and praise him over and over..did it two more times and put it away on a very good note. never have had him try any other way to win than to pull. I don't know if that will work with your pup..but it's worth a try. i would suggest only doing that if your pup is really into the game...if you pup is the kind that has to be encouraged to play tug..it might not be the best idea. i asl want to add i'm not a trainer by any means and he is my first working pup..i just know how frustrating it can be hope it turns out okay..i too would love to see the video!
