The seminar was a huge success. The Oaks provided an excellent venue to hold such an event. That place could easily be used to host any National event with ample tracking on site.

Dr. Raiser................what can be said? We spent a week with him seeing Florida and eating meals. He is a gentleman and really if you are into Schutzhund someone you would want to train with. The seminar should have been called the "Dr.Raiser Experience" as that is what the 3 days were. This man gives the best schutzhund seminar that I have ever attended. Many other people were saying the same thing and things of the like. If you ever have a chance to go and train or participate in a seminar that he is giving, do not miss the opportunity as it is a once in the lifetime Schutzhund experience. It was amazing on how much knowledge he had but what trumped that was his passion for the sport, the German Shepherd as a working dog and working dogs in general. He is so excited about the sport after 40 years in it that it is remarkable to say the least. On top of that he worked 16 dogs for two days as the SOLE helper and never missed a beat. Truly just amazing to watch. He also did an excellent tracking seminar and talked about his club the RSV2000 which is a new German Shepherd organization in Germany which issue FCI recognized papers on the GSD's that the club members produce, can host IPO trials and they have breeding shows/korungs.



The seminar overall was unique. The mornings started with a lecture that was organized with a Power Point presentation and overall like attending a college lecture. Dr. Raiser speaks excellent English and has his system of training broken in to simple schemes for people to be able to remember. Again a very unique concept that after working with it now for a few weeks makes even more sense. His methods are one that demands a harmonious relationship with dog and man and one that is based on fairness to the dog. He has a view like no one that I have ever seen on drives and conflict resolution. We were privileged to watch him work his system of tracking and protection as there were a broad scope of excellent dogs and handlers that attended from all over the country. We had green young dogs, National Competitors and everything in between. This scale allowed us to see his system from the start to the end and how to work out problems that we have in training which was a great learning experience.



Thank you to everyone who came and we hope you had a great time. For those that missed it, if he is ever anywhere that you can be to attend a seminar, do not miss the opportunity. It is a once in a lifetime experience that you will never forget.
