That quote is from Mr. Frawley, and his article: Panosteitis or PANO A treatment that has been successful with our own dogs So, a new GSD in the house. Five months of age, started presenting with pano. Been through it with dogs over the years but decided to do a global search to see if I could get a set of brains. Typed in 'dog, pano' and voila'... The article by Mr. Frawley is the first one listed. Mind you I was not on the Leerburg site. I was doing a search in the wide, wide world of the web. Cutting to the chase: cut the pup's food intake by about 25% and the pano went away in about a week. It has not presented in any other leg. But that's not my point... It is: this site - Leeburg - is a resource. The little mutt is 60+ lbs., and turned 6 mos., last Monday. A really nice dog from a good kennel, and no pano.
