Tonight my dog bindi came in from outside. she was acting restless and I checked her out and she has welts all over her stomach. I have given her benadryl and am waiting for it to take effect. Any other suggestions? We have no idea what she could have gotten into. There is nothing new in the yard and we searched the yard and found nothing unusual. Any help appreciated. I gave her 1 mil of benadryl
she has had nothing new to eat.

Edit reason: let out info
My girl is itchy. Some of the redness is gone in her rash. But she is uncomfortable.
She didn't sleep much last night. She is with me now and I hope she sleeps a little.
I am going to take her to the vet today, unless the rash really gets better. There is nothing new in the yard, she has not been fed anything new, and the other dogs so far are doing fine. I am wondering if a bug bit her or stung her. But I did not see any swollen area. I am going to try and give her a bath in dog allergy shampoo.
she is a very sweet little thing. She is the middle dog in the picture that attaches to this post.
It has been quite a challenge with these three dogs and our yard. I have had dogs the whole 25 years we lived here and never had a problem. With these dogs we've had Cody get really sick, mushrooms exploding during the winter-when we have never had them in 25 years! It has been a challenge. So, I am hoping none of my other dogs get into whatever she did. The yard is just dirt, with a couple of small trees. that is it. we took out any other plants when cody became ill. Anyway, that is how she is doing. She is sleeping on her mat right now.
Thank you for asking. It helps to know others care about what you are going through even if it is just a rash. I am going to wash her bedding too. I usually too each monday.
ALso, I need strength to face the vet. This vet is not raw friendly, so whenever there is anything going on, he always wants me to quit feeding raw. We have been through the discussion a few times. I am really tired of it. and today since I didn't sleep much, really don't have the patience for the whole thing again. So I am hoping we won't go through it. Thanks again
thanks. Her rash is a little less red. We will see how it goes today. At 12:45 I have an appointment at the vet. Hoping they can give me something to help her be more comfortable and treat the allergy part of it.
She is the little dog in the middle. A great little girl, with a great little dog heart!
