Bommi is 7 weeks pregnant and I have stopped training her on obedience. I just take her for a simple walk twice daily and she seems to get tired and sleep a lot.
Instead of the Heel, sit, stand , fetch exercises which seem to make her very tired, I have started training her on some silly tricks. I have already trained her to open the door and close the door.
We have started training on "tidy up your room" trick. We have been working at it for about 4 sessions so far. This video is from the 4th session.
I started off with just one object and moved on to two and three etc.
I dont think she gets it fully but she is trying real hard. Plus she looks super cute when she is confused .
As always your comments are welcome. Please let me know if I can do anything better.
She sure looks like she has 'busy work' to do with picking up her toys. LOL Great way to give her mental & some easy physical work when your options are limited.
barbara> Yes, I am sure she is capable of psyching me out, with her cuteness.
Catherine> I think it is a strange phenomenon with Bommi, Almost all my friends report the same . Their toddlers like to watch bommi. I think it is because she is white with a wagging tail , and looks like a cartoon dog (Snowy from Tintin)
That maybe it, but I think for us and many people, it is the interaction that you have with her. It is very easy to see the special relationship that you have with Bommi. Seeing her work for you with such joy is truly a pleasure to watch.
