I get calls and emails almost everyday from people who need to re-home their dogs. I recieved the following from a cousin I haven't seen since I was 15:
"Hello Janet,
I hope that this note finds you well. I am really hoping that you might be able to help me or direct me in the best path to take. I have two German Shepherd Dogs for whom I am hoping to find a home. I have had the dogs in my possession since they were 8 weeks old. They are highly socialized, love children and have been in environments with folks of all different nationalities and cultures. They are protective when at home, but not aggressive. They have some Schutzhund training and were doing well with the tracking aspect of the training, but sadly their training had to be stopped when one developed PainO. They are crate trained and have lived inside since their purchase. They were born on February 1st of 08, so they are nearly 4. They are registered with the AKC, are of a German breeding line and their mother and their father are both award winning dogs (in both show line and working line) and are in-tact. They are up to date on all their vaccines and I can provide vet records to the person who would like to add them to their home. I am not looking to sale the dogs, and in truth it upsets me greatly to have to part with them, so I am really hoping that I can find someone who would like to take both the boys (Atlas and Kronos). I would love to see them with a family where they might be able to be worked (as either service dogs, or possibly continue their Schutzund/tracking work), or on a farm somewhere where they can run and have a good life. Do you know of anyone who might be looking for two amazing dogs?"
I'm going to try and contact some rescues closer to her and see if I can help. I know that she recently had twins, but I'm not clear on why she needs to re-home them. I'm waiting on more info.

If you can get more information including pictures I can get the info to some German Shepherd rescues and can probably get them to do a courtesy listing at minimum.
