I hope it's ok to put it in this forum... I am playing around with the idea of sponsoring a couple day workshop/seminar in competition ob and sport tracking. The instructor I have in mind has an impeccable resume. So for you schutzhunders would this be something you would be interested in or would you consider it worthless without the protection phase? Will Rambeau Moderator Reg: 01-25-2003 Posts: 5983 Loc: Idaho Offline	Considering the number of OB and tracking seminars that I've attended ( with no protection training being offered ) in the past, I'd say that having an OB/ tracking seminar would be well worth attending. Heck, just from the points view, a seminar like that would be worth attending by a handler looking to improve their score. I even have some AKC people interested and a lot of area schutzhund people are very receptive. Stay tuned, going to see if I can iron out some details. So if and when you have it, don't hesitate to advertise among the AKC training clubs, too. I'm sure there are others like me who have an interest in and a respect for the sport of Schutzhund but don't have the desire or the right kind of dog to do the protection aspect.
