My dog Sasha (1 year old American Mastiff) has been doing alot of sneezing the last two days. Her tempurature is fine, she's eating normally and her activity level is normal. If anything, she seems to be drinking a little more water than usual. There is nothing new in her diet, and we haven't gone anywhere that we haven't been to many times before. He nose is not runny and her eyes are clear and goop-free.
Is the sneezing anything I should be worrying about? Anthing else I should be watching for?

Any pawing at face?
Has she been around foxtails?
Did you just turn on your furnace or dehumidifier or humidifier?
Look at the dog's face straight on. Any asymmetry in shape or eye openings?
A dog who is sneezing and drinking is maybe/probably trying to clear an oronasal irritant.
I have a saved "what to do" for home analysis of sudden multiple sneezing before calling the vet. I'll dig it up.

Meanwhile, have you listened very closely to the breathing? Can you hear a difference in one of the nostrils? Have you looked up the nostrils with a flashlight?

Thanks Connie. That is a very informative link (now saved in my favourites)
I've checked her over and she doesn't have any of the things you or the website mentioned.
I have had the heat on for the last few days but I never thought about possibly making Sasha sneeze. Is there anything I can do for her or it just a matter of her adjusting to the warmer air?
Were the filters cleaned before you turned on the furnace?
Sneezing is something in older dogs that can indicate bad teeth also but I would think so with a 1 yr old dog.
Bob, the furnace was cleaned before it was turned on and the ducts as well. I schedule it every year for the first of December. I wonder now if they stirred up stuff and that's why Sasha is sneezing. She chews on either a bone or antler all the time so her teeth look great.
I don't think I'll worry about taking her to the vet just yet but I'll watch for any other symptoms that may come up.
I've been keeping a log of when she's been doing the most sneezing and so far it's been 3 sneezes when she stands up from lying down and 3 sneezes as soon as she goes outside into the cold air and the occasional random single sneeze.
