I saw this too and was wondering. She DID run, which can trigger a prey drive in a lot of dogs (esp. one trained to actively persue fleeing individuals) None the less, it is interesting/concerning. Dog did it's job and took down someone running and didn't hesitate because the person was female and young BUT to do so without being told kind of makes you say "Hmmmm?"
They said that some of the kids opened the car door to let the dog out.I think its very like;y that someone taunted or teased the dog. I had that problem alot with my shepherd. For some reason because she was a police dog breed teenage boys felt the need to test if she was "bad**s"...
even if they didn't, remember that video of the police dog that was being petted during an interview- the dog wasnt comfortable with the interviewer leaning over him petting his head and nailed him for it. I can see that happened too
I used to think "girls" wouldn't tease dogs and do that stupid crap. After seeing some of this bullsh*^ by girls first-hand, now I'm thinkin' maybe the girl let the dog out herself and bit off more than she could chew. (so to speak)
