From a few days ago. This was Rico's last trip to the off leash dog trails and his last time playing with Ryuk or Gambit. He had quite a bit of fun, but now only Gambit and Ryuk will be permitted to play together (still under supervision of course!)
My housemate had her camera for those last two sessions at the dog trails then in the yard
One cute one from tonight, I'm letting Gambit try out a pillow in his crate tonight, if it's still in one piece tommorrow I may let him have it at night only (don't trust him during the day, little bedding shredder). When I got up to get something he snuggled up his pillow like I was going to take it away (the first time I tried a pillow in there I did take it away, he was chewing the corner off of it) http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy189/Blitzava_Ryuk/DSCN6108.jpg
I'll try to keep pics coming, it's up to my housemate though XD I do the video when I can, she handles the photos. Gambit does VERY well at the trails and has started modeling off of Ryuk as far as becoming a neutral dog social pup. The trails have been giving him a chance to learn what "good" and "bad" body language is and a chance to learn to to deal with rude or sensitive dogs in a setting that allows "escape" as we move on down the path. Gambit's a puppy, but he's turning into a very polite one which is nice.

Gambit looks like he has started to put on a bit of weight, the legs still go up to his neck but maybe a bit off muscle going on??
He is getting stronger, we live on a hill (the yard is a very gradual incline) so the very nature of doing OB across the yard is quite a workout. I've also been having him play and walk with me up in the woods each day. The ground is soft with pineneedles, it's an uneven surface with an incline and he and Ryuk like to dash around up there. His stamina was lousy when I got him, Nick mentioned he lasted only about 15 minutes playing ball. He did only last about that long, but he was never pushed past that point. We've been playing in intervals of about 15 minutes play/train 10 minutes relax and sniff around, then the games resume. I've been careful to keep him only on grass and softer surfaces and none of the exercise is forced. The hardest thing we do is play on the woodpile. Today I was hiding toys up there to search for, Gambit's agility and paw awareness seem to be perfect when he climbing on uneven surfaces at this point (if only he'd apply this to the house, he tripped over nothing on my perfectly level floor earlier chasing a rolling kong and ended up on his face)
Bless him, pups do seem to lack some co-ordination and grace!
When I first brought Kaiser home at 8 months his energy levels were like that of an old dog, he just hadn't had the exercise or interaction with other dogs or people, he would either just stop in his tracks and sit down, or stand there looking gormless until he saw a reason to 'get on'!
Gambit looks like he is having a blast, and falling on his face notwithstanding, he looks really supple and athletic!
Are you down from the high of the road trip and the return journey yet? You must be having such a fantastic time with your 2 and your room mates dog happy days!
