Some Donks can be a royal PITA. When I lost my horse Red, I needed a companion for my mare Breeze and thought about a rescued Donkey. I talked to a lady that has 2 Donkeys. She said when she got them they were great- they would bray to say hi to her and she thought that was just the cutest little thing. Then they started to bray when they saw the lights on in the house in the morning and wouldn't stop. Before she knew it, she was in her kitchen drinking her morning coffee in the dark so the Donks wouldn't know she was up I gave up on the idea of a Donkey and got Winchester instead
Yep. Ornery little buggers! I have been chased, kicked and bitten by various donkeys over the years and may just trust a boa constrictor with my kids a tiny bit more than I would a donkey They have also been known to be agressive towards familiar, friendly dogs and cats. And... All. That. Noise. If it were me, I would go crazy pretty quickly.
