I have switched my dogs at about 8 moth to a year. I think it depends on the size of the dog. I think that the collars only come in a bit larger sizes that most like would not fit a younger pup.
Also they are more like a choke collar & would not put it on a young dog. I would not use it until I had a dog that could walk on a leash without pulling etc. It is also a collar that you cannot correct with. So a certain level of training needs to have been done before using one. JMO
Sorry, this is for a new puppy that I will be getting in about a month and a half. It's going to be a male rottweiler puppy that will be a pet for my family but I do want to do alot of obedience with him. I was just curious what age people start using the fur saver. I have always used a common choke collar but am planning to try the fur saver this time.
