when people who do not choose to have kids (or dogs, or livestock, or gardens or whatever) feel the need to point out what they think is the wrong way to do it. Not trying to be rude, but it is my biggest pet peeve.
Here, here!! Or as some of you would say..."Billboard. Showgirls.".

I am finding ways to economize, too, that I wish I had begun many years ago.
Eating all meals at home turned out to be doable, to save a lot of money, and to result in a better diet. (Yep, it takes me several weekend hours every week to make a couple of "batches," but it has turned out to be more than worth it.)

We are doing the same thing in our household. And miracle of miracles, my husband is learning how to cook! Using a crockpot has also been very helpful
Took my hubby getting food poisoning from Burger King on Christmas eve and Christmas to get him to eat lunch at home. He works a split shift and can come home to eat...no excuses lol.

I'm always amazed how much a person can save by cooking from scratch/carrying a lunch. Or even just carrying coffee for that matter. I always carry a lunch for school - usually leftovers. Lunch from the cafeteria costs $5. Lunch from home? About $1.50. And my chicken and wild rice looks much healthier than the chili cheese dogs...
