I recently ordered and received some supplements from Leerburg for my dogs hip dysplasia. Salmon oil and vitamin e I get, how do you administer syn-flex? It seems to be a supp for people with a fruity smell. I also got grand flex which is a powder. Their aren't any serving instructions on either. Just curious if any of you are using these, and if so, how? Thanks, as always!!

Jon, did you mean how to administer as opposed to dosage?
I just throw it in the food. IME, they like SynFlex, which does have a distinctive odor and taste. GrandFlex is also something to add to food. Neither is supposed to be given on an empty stomach.
They should be given as dosage instructions recommend, BTW, and not doubled up (as in a full dose of each). I mention this particularly because the O.P. ordered two versions of a similar product.
Some individuals will have GI problems (including constipation or diarrhea) with over-dosing. Some may even on the regular full dose, in which case I'd probably back way off and start lower, gradually increasing and watching.
I guess I meant both! I spoke with Cindy via email about the products to order. I ordered the grand flex just to have an extra product in case he didn't like the syn flex. What would be a normal dosage for a 45 lb dog? I will have to check the bottle but I don't remember seeing a dosage for that on the bottle for dogs? The grand flex I wasn't sure if it goes in food or water. Thanks for any help!
Jon
*edit* Connie I just saw the link you put in and I got the dosage...feel like an idiot! Thanks!!!! Jon
I put it in his food this morning, so far he hasn't gone for it. I ordered some of the beef flavored from the SynFlex website, along with a few bottles for myself. I will let you know if he likes the regular. Thanks!
