Just got my first box of Honest Kitchen delivered. Went with the Embark. I assume that I need to switch both dogs gradually. What ratio of kibble to Honest Kitchen should I start with and how much should it change before going completely to the new food?
Connie, I've been following that thread. That's actually what got me to consider switching to THK. And I just re-read it but I'm not seeing where it explains how to switch. When you say pour a little over part of the kibble, how much and for how long before I switch them completely? Do I increase THK and decrease kibble daily? Do I just pour a little for a few days and then switch? I'm unclear.

Not to speak for Connie, but what she usually means is to make a gravy out of THK and pour that over the kibble. So you would start off feeding 90% of the kibble for the first day and just pouring some honest kitchen over it. Then gradually, over the course of a week or so, decrease the kibble and increase the honest kitchen a little bit each meal, until you get to 100% THK.

No. If you make it like it says on the box, and let it sit (I let it sit 30 minutes), then it's more like stiffer mashed potatoes. But you can make it any consistency you want - although I wouldn't make it soupy.
