Last time I measured Ambi back in June at 26 months she was 25 inches and withers was just slightly above my knee. I just noticed her withers are now mid-thigh on me, I haven't measured but I'd estimate she's 2 to 3 inches taller. Can a 2 1/2 year old have a growth spurt?
My animals are not "like" family, they ARE family.
It could depend on the breed of dog. Giant and large breed dogs tend to still grow a bit after the age of two. My last girl, an American Mastiff, grew 2 inches between her 2 year old birthday and 6 months later.
