I saw this article today and thought the forum members here might find it interesting, since the question of what is natural for our dogs is an issue near and dear to most of us. Not saying I agree or disagree, just posting it here as food for thought. I have not had a chance to follow up on any of the links.
I had a poodle years ago that loved pasta. :-) My husband used to sneak it to her. :-)
I didn't read all of it...but for many years family dogs existed on table scraps & whatever that would encompass.
I feed raw & don't include any grains. I do think that for some dogs that have trouble maintaining good weight, a bit of carbs may be helpful in order not to overfeed the dog to keep on the weight. JMO
