A friend of mine has an 11 month-old St. Bernard-Airedale cross. He looks like a gigantic Airedale, and is dry mouthed. He's spent his whole life outside, is untrained and not housebroken. I believe he is intact. They took him as a puppy as a favor to a friend, but had no experience with dogs, much less large, active dogs. They've had no luck re-homing him locally, other than interest from unacceptable homes. He is located in SE Wyoming.
I know of someone in Indiana who wants a large dog for companionship and presence. Not a guard dog, but obviously large dogs are deterrents. I sent an message to Becca to see if she knew if the dog was friendly with kids over 10.
