I hope this helps. I have never done it. Someone who has will see the thread, though, and see if you were successful.

The image has to be previously uploaded on a shared website, such as Photobucket or Facebook. On Photobucket, the image will have several codes under the thumbnail. The bottom one is "img".
Simply copy and paste that code into the signature line at your profile page (along with a caption, or any tidbit of wisdom that you'd like to share).
ETA; You can register a free account at Photobucket, if you don't already have one.

Thank you Duane and Connie I am trying to post a signature I went to my profile did not see the option to add one....I such a wizz with computers it is totaly sickening lol
did that Duane and look at the results lol
if we click on the link we see the picture but it doesn't appear as my signature....I'll figure it out one day lol
Ok, I think I know what the problem is...
If you go to the link that Connie gave you, it tells you to put img in brackets before and after the url, without spaces. I can't do it here to show you, as my post will be corrupted. It would be {img}your.url{img}, but with brackets instead of {}.
The other problem you would then have (I think) is that the viewer would have to have a facebook account. I'm logged into facebook right now, but an blocked from viewing your pic. I have a free Photobucket account, and it is much easier.

Facebook won't work, unfortunately. Wrong kind of file.
Photobucket.com is the answer. It's free. Just upload the photo(s) you want there, and Photobucket will automatically generate a bunch of "tags" next to your picture. Just copy and paste the "IMG" tag in the correct spot here in your profile and it'll work.
