Raw feeders, if you bought bone in chicken breasts and debone them yourself to save money, would you give the rib bones to your dog? There isn't really any meat on them, and no organs attached like backs, so it maybe it doesn't really add anything to the diet?

If course I would feed them to the dog!
Bones and cartilage are critical parts of a raw diet (not just structures to hold meat and organs.)
When you feed these "meatless" breast bones, you'll just need to compensate by adding a bit more muscle meat.
At my house, almost no food scrap goes in the trash. Any raw meat trimmings, cooked meat leftovers, vegetable trimmings, even small bits of rice, pasta---all this makes its way into the dogs' bowls. Or is fed to chickens.

Thanks Tracy! That's pretty much what I was thinking but was curious what others would do.
Oh,that setting...and those beautiful dogs! I have been without a German Shepherd for six months and what a void.
I am so happy for Lori and Tracey.

We feed any raw scraps to the dog, as long as it's not something that could be a choking hazard (small bone pieces). I think as long as your dog chews the bones and doesn't try to swallow them whole and you add in some more muscle meat to balance it out, you should be fine.
