Absolutely WONDERFUL!
It's been proven that dogs can bring our heart rate down, reduce stress levels, blood pressure and just help us get through less then good situations. I could have told all the experts this based on my own childhood. Many a night I went to sleep with my head buried in her fur and crying my eyes out.
They don't have to be tops in competition to be tops in our hearts.

I had planned to give her a cup cake for her birthday but she actually got 2...one she stoll from the counter top as they were cooling of lol.
I give Ziva many hugs a day.....I just love to hug her big furry body...and when I lay on the floor she comes and cuddle and press her body against mine and rest her head on my arm wher mine is resting too....I love the smell of her, her curls, everything actually.....at night she sleeps on her blankie on my bedroom floor, sometimes she comes and rest her head on my chest just to check up on me, wondering if it is because I have sleep apnoea.....I always acknowledge her presence even though she wakes me up after only 2 hours sleep......after a kiss and a "I love you girly" she goes back to her blanket for the rest of the night.
Solange...it is so great to read about you and Ziva, you have really come a long way with her. How great that you have been able to train her to become a faithful and loving pet. I really enjoyed reading about your training progress and success.

Thanks Marj, but I don't think one can train a dog to be loving, Ziva had it in her all of this time, I just had to be able to read it, see it and by returning the behavior helping her to express it and share what she has that is the most natural and precious.
