Tracy, so sorry to hear about Luca. But that tribute was beautiful and definately touched my heart.
Remember the good times, I am sure there were many. And know that he's in peace. You gave him the best last couple days. Be glad that you had that chance, I am sure he was.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You were so lucky to have each other. Everything else that could be said has been said and I think we've all shed a tear or two for you, and for our own lost loves.

Tracy, thank you for that tribute. I'm crying now just thinking about it. I had to do the same thing for the same reason with our dog before Kasey. It's soooo heart wrenching... Kasey is my 'The One'. He picked me too out of 10 puppies, and now that he's 7, I think about how little time we may have left. Your post reminds me to appreciate everyday.

Oh Tracy, what a glorious tribute to Luca !!! Thank you for sharing that deep love with everyone here, because it helps all of us in processing our own grief over the years -- Nothing ever makes it any easier, nothing, so the only thing we can do is to "weep with those who weep" (Romans 12:15) ... Run pain-free at The Bridge, lucky Luca.

I'm so very sorry. I lost my heart dog this past February and it was (and still is) simply devastating. Words really can't explain it, but I was so comforted by my friends and family who really "got it" and helped me through it.
Rest in Peace, sweet Luca
