I don't know if anyone else has seen the footage related to this poor pup who was given away on craigslist and horribly abused. The police have announced they have a person of interest in the case are questioning him today, and the state has a new bill to have our antiquated cruelty laws changed. I don't know why I'm posting this other than looking at that poor pup and what she endured really brings tears to my eyes. I'm hugging my dog a little tighter.

I read that story.
Warning .... It's horrific. She had to be euthanized (after being found abandoned near a park, unable to walk, bleeding, tortured in a manner that I won't describe).
I don't even want to describe what I want done to that "human."
I know.
Apparently I'm not very evolved because if they catch this person I hope the prison myths are true...
(a good reminder of why craigslist is a horrible place to find a home for an animal. I know some of the rescues regularly patrol it but putting an animal on there truly is a crapshoot)

Edit reason: craigslist

Good news, they arrested the guy and have charged him with 12 counts of felony animal abuse (on the one dog). Interestingly he was working as a health aide and the elderly woman he was taking care of died the same day the dog was found ( abuse to the dog had been going on for months). I am SO glad LE kept working this case.
