I think I need to get out with him more. It would be good for me as well as him. I think the high drive dog, the playful dog, is a correct diagnosis. Thanks for reading my long description. When I had a GSD as a little boy, I used a baseball bat and a large super ball on a Sod Farm. Only took three hits to the other side of the farm and the dog was exhausted.
