Question for the heroic tech gurus that keep this wonderful site running.
Please take this as merely one user's experience...and what I hope is a helpful heads up about an issue with the mobile experience. I access the Leerburg web board mostly on my iPhone 5 with the new operating system.
But the way the posts are displayed makes it difficult to engage in threads.
On my phone, when displaying the list of active topics, if I click on an individual post (Subject column) a gray pop-up box displays the first dozen lines of the most recent post. But there's no way (that I can figure out) how to make that pop-up box go away. And now that pop up box is covering up 4 or 5 other active topics in the list, that I can't see or access. If I click another subject that I can see, I now get multiple pop up boxes, overlapping and covering even more of the page. With the pop up opened, I also can't select (by clicking the second time) the individual thread that the pop up is teasing...because that selection area is under the pop up box.
So, to read threads on my phone, I have to keep closing and re-opening the site. Most times, I just give up and wait until I have access to a desktop.
I don't know if others have similar issues on other mobile devices.
Love the site. So much that I wish I could access it more easily in mobile format.
I use the mobile site as well, and have the gray box pop up as well, I'm able to tap on the box and it opens up the topic, I then use back button to go between topics.
My animals are not "like" family, they ARE family.

With some tweaking here and there, we've made it possible for you to simply click on the gray pop-up box to make it go away. Note that this is only for iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod).
Android devices function differently and will automatically take you to the topic.
Apologies for any inconveniences this may have caused. If any of you do see any further issues, please don't hesitate to let us know.
