We got our Christmas meat from the farmer today, he did a turkey crown for Jamie, and he gave me the arse end with the legs and the giblets for the Boerboels.
They haven’t had raw for a long time, and I don’t want to make them sick, so just wondered if a drumstick with the portion of back each would cause them any problems, or if I should chop it into four pieces and give them a couple of bits one day and the rest the next?

What I would do is freeze or refrigerate the legs and giblets for now and give each a piece of back.
I'd probably tear off the skin first, too (where so much fat lives). I think that in this way they will have the fun of crunching bones that are cartilage-y and non-weight-bearing and easily digested and have no real likelihood of having diarrhea for Christmas as a result of unaccustomed fat.
And then you can see those poops and decide about the rest.
I'm sure this is overkill, but far better than even one dog with diarrhea over the holiday.
