Everything's good with them now, we were able to drop the lead outside a couple of weeks ago. I haven't tried training with food with both present (I think I'll leave that for a while later), but we've moved on to house manners for Chance - which are pretty good apart from wanting to tear up (kids) toys and eat the cats. Play is very even on both sides and it looks a bit like a greco-roman wrestling match from the sidelines.
He's getting more calm by the day and is still very enthusiastic about being in our company. HW treatment was delayed because the vet wants us to slap another 10 lbs on him so I'm feeding him 3 times a day.
