Even my old weim has saved me from a lot of trouble with her nasty stares. Of course, she would go bat crazy on anybody if they ever did touch me. But the eye contact is usually enough of a deterrent. Also, im pretty gnarly myself... :P
stay safe everybody! <3
I had a Wiemaraner some 40yrs ago. They could be deadly serious dogs. Mine went everywhere with me so he at least accepted people as being something to ignore.
A litter mate of his could never be approached by anyone he didn't know.
The smoky grey color and yellow eyes alone can keep folks away from them.
Crazy looking dogs huh?! haha
My girl has deep, DARKER eyes. Maybe a brownish, with golden tint? (i look at them now, they look gold to me tonight!)
I have seen them with alien like eyes, very bright yellow! Very unique looking breed!
My girl is a bit thicker and darker than the weims i have met.
Though i did see a nice breeder with weims that looked more like mine.
I tried to contact him but he told me off saying he only places his dogs to active hunting or working homes.
I didn't want another! Just wanted to ask why our dogs looked different than other weims i have met.
Do you like weims? Ever get another?
I liked the one I had but he was given to me by my sister's MIL. Two pup litter. She kept the other male and gave me the other because she "wanted the family to stay close".
