I've always said my dogs will eat absolutely anything, but I've never tried giving them a whole stalk of celery. I've got one I'm afraid would just bite off a big long piece and bolt it down, so I don't want to risk that, but I like the way Logan just seems to be eating it carefully and enjoying the crunchiness of it.
He'll carry a pinecone around like its a kong...crunching it even...ouch!...but nothing is as bad as after he eats one. Idk why he does it...like he has a Bento ball, stuffed Kong or bone to chew on bit he will sometimes get a pine cone or stick and go to town on it. I'm thinking its from when he was emaciated, he developed a habit of eating stuff like that. Sometimes I catch him digging and then eating mouthfuls of dirt. Reminds me of that TV show "my strange addiction"
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.
