New pup Savvy (special rescue case, I'm keeping her). Currently five weeks as of thursday she's been here about two weeks..though at that point most of her "training" was playing with Ryuk, confusing Gamble (up until yesterday he was convinced she was a kitten), being picked up, snuggled, and held in all sorts of weird positions, and attempting to figure out how to drink from a pan because bottles were only good for chewing on....
Last Session of today (tired little pup) demonstrating her lure work following the hand to gain muscle memory for sit, spin, and twirl. http://youtu.be/u0HfePBoYsg
To short a clip of the first time trying out touching an object (bowl), I knocked of the camera and only got 20 seconds or so. http://youtu.be/iH3FTgNB-jM
Some um...tug...with the world most annoying toy (muted sound)....a hard plastic phone that rattles, squeaks, and clicks as well as bangs loudly on the floor...it's her favorite thing to run around hitting into things...she's in a "I like loud scary noises" kick right now...I'm just going with it..... http://youtu.be/kn8Hq81uCUU

She's aptly named! What a savvy little squirt! And what fun for you to have this opportunity to imprint on such a tiny baby. I'm sitting here with an enormous grin watching this. Congrats on the new family member. Can't wait to see her grow up.
Cute puppy! And a very lucky girl to have joined you and your pack, Jamie. I guess I can understand Gamble's confusion. She does have a sort of kittenish look about her.
Awww. Is she cattle dog mix? I hate to see pups taken from Mom and siblings early, but I'm sure she is getting the best of care with you.
certainly acts like a little ACD mix (OMG A THING! LET ME HAVE OPINIONS ABOUT THAT THING! OMFG WHY YOU TAKE THING AWAY? OOOOOOPINIONS!!!!!!!)...she's also creepy smart and driven, knows her name, knows where the food comes from, likes to work.
she had no mom to be with, I hate her missing out on littermate interaction as well (missing those too) but at least here she does have a lot of balanced dog role models and we have access to some puppies to play with as well
