Betty, I taught my brother's Russian Blue to walk on a lead and to sit, but that was all. A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.

A buddy of mine had a big white Manx cat that would retrieve a tennis ball to hand all day long but to do anything else it was all cat. Classic feline "do it yourself" attitude. old dogs LOVE to learn new tricks

Most cats are not fed as a reward and often free fed, lazy and all. LOL A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.

I find some cats to be more friendly and social than my dog. I think a cat would be easier to train than my dog. A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.

Cats are loners. They don't depend on anyone/anything but them selves for survival so it doesn't benefit them to be a willing pack member. Hounds are a different animal all together. old dogs LOVE to learn new tricks
