Some dogs just get big early.. my pup will be 7 months here in a few days and he weighs in at 67 pnds.. he was about 55 at 5 months... sounds like you got a great dog, Dobe!
Leute mögen Hunde, aber Leute LIEBEN ausgebildete Hunde!
There is a problem with too many over-sized large breed dogs. You know...breeders who advertize "big boned" dogs. Too many 110 pound Labs,GSD's, ect....They are talked about like this is in some way desirable. This is not what the dogs are supposed to be nor is it healthy. If a large pup's growth starts to tail off and there is no damage done to his joints and he dosen't end up too big then its fine. I just saw pictures of DOBE's dog and he looks great.
Chuck, thanks.
Hey i see your a postal sup, man that's got to be the toughest job in the PO.
i was in there back in '95(Newton,Needham MA) and hated it. that's when the union was on their management harrasment kick and they were picketing the PO's.
almost went in management but got out before they got me.
Its still a jungle...believe me. There are abusive managers..no doubt. But there are those in the craft that no matter how good you treat them they will still shove it up your fanny any chance they get. It's pretty safe for me to say that I enjoy dog training much more than my day job!
