Hi,
My puppy gobbles down raw meat, chicken wings, etc., even with carrots added, but she WON'T eat if I add the vitamins, efa's, etc. Anybody have any ideas?
i use a food proccessor to pulp the veggies, gizzards and other small chunked meat. I add alfalfa, kelp, salmon oil, etc.. to this base. Then I mix in larger chunks of meat and Presto! A gross, green concoction of protien that smells like fish. The dogs love it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
What about tuna? Is it okay to feed an 11 week old puppy tuna with the veggies, etc? Are dogs really colorblind? They must be or they'd never eat something that looked like THAT!
I know, a stupid question, but is canned mackerel cooked? I don't always feed my GSD raw, but I never feed raw and commercial at the same meal. I'd like to add something to the Innove to help him like it better.

Some dogs don't like it and others go wild for it. All I know is that I feed it on the day before trash day because those cans really reek!!
