Rogue has the most solid temperament of any dog I've ever encountered. Back firing cars, things flying at her, whatever it is she doesn't care unless she might be allowed to chase it. I've been seriously thinking about training her to be someone's service dog. Have any of you guys done this before? Know of any organizations that would help place a fully trained dog or could help me with what she would need to know? I figure on doing all the necessary training for a person with limited mobility myself. Things like picking up dropped objects, assisting with laundry, hitting buttons, etc.
Of course this is all pretty far down the road considering that Rogue is only 8 months old right now. I wouldn't figure on placing her until she's 2 at the earliest given how slow AmBulls are to mature. Just thought I'd ask if anybody here had any thoughts on it.
