Has anyone calculated the cost of the raw diet for one dog per a month? I know different meats and nutienst will vary but is it around 40,80,100 dollars?
It will largely depend on what price you end up paying for meats. If you are buying them at the grocery store it will cost almost double what it will cost if you are able to buy in bulk and freeze at home.
I order all our meats in bulk and we have 4 raw fed dogs in the house, 3 adults one puppy, and it runs me about $100 every 4-5 weeks for the RMB portion of the diet. Add veggies, cottage cheese, sardines, mackeral, HB and other stuff and I would estimate it is close to $35-45 a month per dog.
