Sorry, the message went of I don't know how. Repetition:
Kelly, what a shock! I recently had not time for the webboard unfortunately. But I read today about your loss. I start crying with you. I think you know, I never had horses, never had dogs before the ones I have now. But I had during almost a lifetime cats and this means I also lost many cats, because of accidents, deceases, Vet's errors. It is extremly painful. Each time it happens we loose not something or somewhat replaceable, we loose in fact a personnality, an individuum.I had to go through this at least 25 times. The worst 5 cases were, when we lost cats without having the slightest idea about what happened, we did not know if the animal still was alive somewhere and needed our help, but we had no chance to find it.
I think I know exactly what you are going through.
Of course it will get easier somehow with the time going on, but the lost ones will always be in our mind and heart and even if the distance of time will lessen the pain, each time I think of the lost ones it hurts again. We can not do anything against this, only live with it and remember the great time and relationship we had with them. It has always been a wonderful present of life to be with them and we have to go on living with this and create new relationships without ever forgetting the past ones.
I am very much feeling with you, because I know how it is. I hope you will be able to cope with this and find a good and happy new way.
I from the very beginning liked and admired you as such a kind and reliable employee of Leerburg and I wish you from my deepest heart, that you'll find a lot of happiness again. I know, I lack words, I even would lack them in my own language, but I wanted to tell you how much I do feel with you.

There are NEVER any words that can help enough -- Time is the only healer & even then it leaves tender scars behind forever ... Such is the nature of losing someone we LOVE so much
Breeze is happy now & you will eventually be happy again as well -- Your wonderfully expressive & heartfelt tribute has honored her tremendously, and I know your adoption of another rescue horse in the coming months will do likewise ... You have enriched my life as a fellow animal-lover through your posts, Kelly, and I thank you for this one even though it has left me sobbing aloud at my desk here at work.
