I am going to start my marker training with my puppy using a clicker. When do you think I will be able to transition to using "Yes" and could you use both at first or is their a time period in switching? Do I have to charge the word "Yes" if I decide to use it like when I charge the clicker? Can I switch back and forth?

I trained my first dog with a clicker and hated always having to have it with me so I switched to 'yes'. Trained my next dog with 'yes' and it was SO much easier.
