Great, Cheri, I knew we were on the same page. With other dogs, other experiences, other goals different opinions are unavoidable. For me they are even welcome, because they open our minds, let us see things from other points of view. This also is part of every learning process.
Your idea for Daniel's friend is also great. Often people don't have a clue what someone would really like to have. They want to give a present, but are a bit lost what to choose. So, a help for them too not only for yourself.
Daniel, once your friend has started with the LB DVDs it's like my one case. I thought 1-3, enough! I watched them I don't know how many times, Then I could afford the next and soon I was caught by the virus and found ways how to get what wished.

I have a freind that sent me this message AFTER I recommended Michael Ellis's power of training with Food.
Quote:
This pup is an Australian shepherd/ Lab mix. My goal is a well trained hiking/ outdoor activity geared dog. On/off leash control is priority along with the basic obedience stuff.
He said if he can only get one more video which would it be.
What would you guys suggest for the other video?
AFTER doing & proofing all Basic Obedience (marker training), I would buy...
WHY ??? Because I would never-ever allow any dog of mine Offlead WITHOUT an E-Collar -- I like the Leerburg remote-control DVD best for PET owners (just my own opinion & nothing against Michael Ellis at all)
