My two actually preferred their meat cold/frosty. I would say no longer than three days if it is left in the fridge that whole time. I read in a BARF website by a woman in Austrailia that she freezes all her meats and bones and then feeds them to her dogs once thawed. She stated this kills any parasites and worms. If it spoils to the point you wouldn't eat it, don't feed it to your dog. Is it a problem to freeze the fresh meat and to defrost it? No. However, you should avoid defrosting in the microwave. Treat the food in the same manner you would treat it for yourself.
