Can anyone give me their opinion on using Caladryl Clear lotion on a pregnant GS. My vet assures me she is itching due to hormonal change. She is currently on Salmon Oil and Vitamin E. Any suggestions to give her some relief until she is over the pregnancy??? any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well, Caladryl is a mixture of benadryl and calamine lotion.
We give benadryl in all forms to pregnant women without worry, it's not tetrogenic or fetaltoxic.
I don't know about the calamine portion of it tho, sorry.
