Neat! Do you think working the dogs in a pack makes them more successful? Ie, do you think 4-6 dogs at a time helps kick in the hunt drive and spur competition?
Yes, working in a pack helps the dogs be more successful not because it spurs compitition and drive but because you have 4-6 noses ( and brains ) working for you. I work these dogs alone on training tracks periodically just to make sure everybody is firing on all cylinders. I can't tell any difference in the focus and drive of the finished dogs when worked alone except when the subject is located. The pack definitely fires each other up when the suspect is bayed or treed.
