Thaks Cheryl, I just purchased a new forced air dryer last week (and a big honkin' gallon of shampoo) I can't wait to try the "blowout" technique when the huskies start to shed - I should be able to get it looking like blizzard around here <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />. Lisa, I am like you and am better with a greyhound comb than a rake.
I use grooming rakes on my GSD's as well as many double coated breeds that come in for grooming. My favorite rake has 2 different length of teeth (teflon coated). It has 1" and 1/2" teeth. Just one row of teeth but every other is 1 inch etc. I find that this works better than the one row of the same length....cele danner
