This is by far the best shampoo I have ever used on my dog and boy have I used a lot. The benefits of tea tree oil
are well known. It has natural antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal properties as well as being a natural insect repellent.
For those looking to alternatives regarding flea shampoos etc., try this. Or if you have a dog with skin problems as well.
For the first 1 1/2 years of my dog's life I did not have him on any flea pills, I didn't have one flea. No ticks either.
Now though, I do use 3 Sentinal pills (1 every 2 months, I don't follow the recommended dose) and combined with the shampoo
my dog has never had any flea problems, skin irritations, hot spots, etc. I bathe my dog once every 2-3 weeks and he's never had
dry skin because the tea tree oil also has natural conditioning agents in it.
This shampoo was recommended by my breeder who's been breeding dogs for 30 years. She said it was a bit $$pricey for
her to use on all her dogs, but said it was the best shampoo she's seen in a long time. I agree.
Just wanted to share my observations. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> http://www.miraclecorp.com
I agree with you on this shampoo. I had a persian cat that got a nasty infestation with fleas. Being a strictly indoors cat (never been outside in his life) I have no idea how he got them, but after I started using the melaluca shampoo I never had another problem. We ended up replacing the carpeting. My thinking is that when we bought the house the cats the previous owners had must have left them behind. Plus it cut down on me having to bathe the dumb cat since he had some seriously oily fur before and stunk so badly. Cutting down from bathing this cat once a week was a relief.
