Ok...this dog i fount while 4 wheeling though my woods...this German Shephard/Terrier was in a cage almost dead so i brought it in and went to vet they give it shots and all the nutritions needed he survived but 2 weeks l8ter his left les started to stifen up and he was hoppin so i moved it and he was still hoppin like it was sprung the vet said it was ok....then the next day i fount him lying in this cage with all legs and body unmoveable he was throwing up getting sick making loud gunrting and crying noises so naturally i stayed with him until 1:30 that morning and he finally closed his eyes and went to sleep not die..when i woke up at 7:00 that morning he count move nothing but his eyes and mouth and was breathing he looks at me and had watery eyes and just took one last deep breathe and died....i wanna know what would cause that to happen to a perfect healthy pup it had more TLC then anything in the world.
Tnx!!
Bye
First.. i am sorry for the loss of your pup.. but it wasn't a perfectly healthy dog.. you said you found it almost dead.. then the vet goes and sticks it full of vaccines..which is the last thing it needed... it probably died from the vaccinations.. very sad indeed.
Don't you think with all of the problems this dog apparently had that you are jumping the gun by blaming the vaccinations for causing the death of this dog? There's no way to answer the question of how/why the dog died based upon the info provided. Blaming the vaccinations (which might ultimately be correct) is simply using this loss as a platform for an anti-vaccination position and not providing an answer to the original question. Just remember, this pup was in bad shape and on its own before it was 4 weeks old - there are plenty of reasons it may have died.
I agree. This pup sounds like it had plenty wrong with it before any vaccines were given. And yes...it is impossible to tell by the description give the absolute exact cause other than the pup was near dead anyway when you found it and 2 weeks of improvement was not nearly enough to overcome whatever was wrong in the first place....probably neglect and mal-nourishment amongst other things. Your not gonna get the magic answer for this one. It's sad that it happened but I don't think there is much more to say. Thread closed.
