I need some advice. Here is my situation.
I have a 9yo GSD and a 2.5yo GSD both have been living together for about 1.5 years.
Both are good on obedience. “Leerburg training tapes”
Lately the young dog has begun lifting his leg in the house. Always in the dining room (ON MY CHAIR!!!) only.
Both dogs are kennel trained and had earned the full roam of the house.
The other morning I was leaving the house early and notice a fresh puddle next to my Harley. The dog pee’d on my (covered) motorcycle.
He almost went to doggy heaven right then and there. If the bike would not have been covered he may have.
Is the dog mad or upset or holding a grudge with me?
Over the weekend I purchased a wireless zone shock collar for the little bugger. He is not going into the dining room any longer and has not found a new spot, yet.
Any ideas on what may have caused this new behavior would be helpful.
Start putting them or him outside during dinner, or some parts of the day.
Especially when she about to lift his leg, open the patio door and say "Out" or leash him and take him outside and release him to play or pee all he wants. You will probably get some whining and hollowing, but he will eventually get the message if he marks anything in the house he is placed outside. Especailly your Throne!!
